History

The birth of current company president, Lucio Perego, was the catalyst for Giuseppe Perego to create a "new place" for the "new arrival." It was 1949 when Giuseppe created, for his new born son, the finest baby carriage around at the time. That was just the beginning. Many carriages and strollers followed, as Peg Perego quickly grew to become a successful company, known all over the world for its innovative ideas in the fields of infant care products and toys. Today our car seats, highchairs and strollers are still Made in Italy, in the original location where the company was founded many years ago . Every step in the process, from engineering, to production, to shipping, is performed by Peg Perego and no one else. We're proud of our tradition, and we're always pushing to develop new and innovative products that make life easier and reflect Italy's most sophisticated trends.

Peg Perego is also a leading manufacturer of battery operated ride on toys. Known for quality, performance, and realism, our ride on toys are made in the USA, in our Fort Wayne, Indiana factory since 1968. Our product line and overall toy development evolved over the years, with a strong focus on safety, innovation, new technical solutions, and establishing successful partnerships with John Deere, Polaris, Ducati, and other leading brands. To this day, Peg Perego continues to produce fun and realistic products for consumers around the world.
